New Space. New Stories.

New Space. New Stories.

With the opportunity to renovate a physical space comes the opportunity to reflect on what else can be refreshed and made new. It’s been an exciting summer here at the Spa, as we have truly taken some spaces down to the studs and removed walls to create what we hope will be a beautiful new space to welcome our guests. But our nail room, floors, and furniture aren’t the only things that are changing! Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out quite a few new changes that we hope our guests will be as excited about as we are. This Spa blog is just a small new addition!

I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many of our wonderful guests over the last 14 months, and if we’ve had a few minutes to talk, many of you know that the Spa is a dream God placed in my heart over ten years ago. Never in my wildest dreams, did I imagine seeing that dream fulfilled with the opportunity to take over the stewardship of such a gem as Spa 9700. Spa 9700 was my go-to Spa with my Mom in high school, a treat when I would come home from college, where I would escape after final exams in law school, and it’s where I came to rescue a horrible manicure (from another nail spot!) the afternoon before my wedding in 2010!

I truly value the history of the Spa and the loyalty and support of our guests. I am humbled every time someone chooses to spend their precious time and hard-earned money at our small business. As we continue updating our space and our image, it’s important to me that we keep the most important parts of what makes the Spa what it is - the warmth and genuine welcome when they walk in our doors, and the ability to truly feel loved and at home. The Spa is a special place, and it is a joy to share it with you.
